Clarity
Translate technical issues into decisions, trade-offs and actions a client can understand.
AMGENT gives clients direct senior adviser access and a clear process for connecting business, personal wealth, retirement, protection and family decisions.

Benjamin, known as Ben, has more than 25 years of experience across domestic and international financial markets, superannuation and financial advice.
His career has included international financial markets and senior roles with major Australian financial and professional-services organisations. That experience gives him a practical understanding of the way investment, retirement, tax, business and family decisions can become fragmented when nobody is responsible for connecting them.
Ben founded AMGENT to give clients a direct senior relationship and a place where those decisions can be considered together. The aim is simple: understand what matters, explain the trade-offs plainly, coordinate the right specialists and stay involved as circumstances change.
Ben is also a qualified tax relevant provider (QTRP).
AMGENT was designed around the need for one adviser to keep the financial strategy connected while other professionals contribute within their own areas of expertise.
Translate technical issues into decisions, trade-offs and actions a client can understand.
Keep financial advice aligned with the work of accountants, lawyers and other specialists when their input is required.
Maintain context as your business, family, retirement plans and legislation change over time.
Many important financial decisions are not purely financial. Selling a business changes identity and family cash flow. A pension decision can affect two tax systems. A TPD payout can create a new set of tax, super and investment questions at a difficult time.
AMGENT’s boutique model is intended to preserve that context. Rather than restarting the story with a different team each time, the client has a senior adviser who can remember why earlier decisions were made and how a new decision affects the wider plan.
The AMGENT mark also reflects Hugo and Buddy, the Waite family’s Boston Terriers. The breed is known as the “American Gentleman”, which helped shape the firm’s name and visual identity.
